A two-day showcase of the fantastic immunology, infection and inflammation research happening at Oxford

The Immunology Network and the Oxford Immunology Group jointly organised a two-day symposium at the Mathematical Institute to showcase the world-class research taking place across the University.

Highlights of the event included the presentation of 3 poster prizes:

1st Prize of a £100 Amazon voucher went to Rebeca Arroyo Hornero (NDS)nfor her poster entitled 'Enhancing regulatory T cell therapy by targeting CD27/CD70 co-stimulation'.

2nd Prize of a £50 Amazon voucher went to Liam Brown (Maths) for his poster entitled 'Predicting observed patient responses to a short-peptide cancer vaccine via clinical trial simulations'.

3rd Prize of a £25 Amazon voucher went to Shivan Sivakumar (Oncology) for his poster entitled 'Immuno-phenotypes of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma'.

Congratulations to all poster presenters and many thanks to the poster judges, Divya Shah (Wellcome), Martin Broadstock (MRC) and Anton van der Merwe (Dunn School)>

Early Career Researcher Awards were presented to;

  • Marcin Pekalski (WCHG)
