Malcolm J. W. Sim

Group Leader

Malcolm is based in the Oxford Centre for Immuno-Oncology. He was awarded an MRC Career Development Award in Spring 2023 to set up his own research group. Malcolm's research focuses on receptors of the immune system that detect MHC molecules with a focus on natural killer cell receptors. 

Malcolm was awarded his PhD in 2016 from Imperial College London and conducted his post-doctoral training at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) in the USA. 

Malcolm's most recent work titled 'Innate receptors with high specificity for HLA class I–peptide complexes' was published in Science Immunology on the 8th September 2023.
